Chunky Grip Baby Spoon

This Super Cute Little Spoon is the latest addition to my line of Baby products and it features A Extra Chunky handle to make it easy for Baby to grip and manipulate thereby making learning to feed themselves A Great deal easier. The overall length is about 5" and the bowl is about 1 1/8" wide. I have carved the bowl to A comfortable depth to allow Baby to easily load the food and yet deep enough that it will not fall out on the arduous journey to Baby's mouth.

A little something from my friend Charlie

Charlie AKA Wood Turner on etsy is a Great Guy and an Awesome woodworker from Wisconsin. He's been kind enough to share some tips and give me some help on a number of occasions and he's always great to have a chat with. I've been wanting to start featuring some other Artisans and thought this Great Guy would be the perfect choice to start with. Heres a picture of one of his creations and to see more just click the link to Charlie's shop in the right sidebar.

This is A beautiful hand turned ornament for any decor. Use it for a display, part of a decorative arrangement or on your Christmas tree. Approximately 5 inches tall. Buy one for yourself or as a gift.

I use different contrasting woods for the roof, house and perch.

This particular ornament has a roof of Mahogany, house of Cherry and perch of Walnut. The finish is shellac buffed silky smooth and then a coat of carnuba wax is applied.

Ebonised Walnut Hair Fork

A Pretty little round top hair fork hand carved from Walnut and Ebonised to give it the dark color. The Ebonising process I use is not a Dye or Stain but rather a completely natural chemical reaction that occurs when the Tannin in the wood is exposed to Moisture and Iron. The wood literally changes color and the whole process is completely safe, permanent and NON TOXIC not to mention Fun to do :) The Hair Fork is 5" long and has a slight curve. I have finished it with Certified Organic Flax Seed Oil and Orange Wax.

Maple Wood Baby Teething Ring

Turned from Hard Maple this teething ring is a wonderful natural alternative to the chemical leeching plastic ones normally available on the market. I have sanded, wet the ring down and re sanded repeatedly so the grain will not raise anymore keeping the ring nice and smooth while it relieves baby's itchy gums. The ring is finished with certified organic flax seed oil and orange wax making it completely safe for baby to munch on. The ring measures about 3" in diameter and is about 3/8" thick.

Something new for me, these Hand Carved Walnut End Cones are for finishing the ends of multi strand necklaces and bracelets. I'm not sure how much interest there is for them but I thought I give them a shot and see. They are listed for sale in my etsy.com shop where you can also see more of my work.
