Primitive Folk Art Carving of a Black Cat sitting on a Jack O Lantern. I carved the Jack O Lantern from Pine and the Kitty is Carved from Bass Wood, the two are glued together with a dowel drilled in for strength. The piece has been painted with Acrylics then sprayed with Lacquer and finaly 2 coats of Orange Wax have been applied. The piece stands about 4 5/8" high and is about 2 3/8" wide the Kitty alone is just shy of 2" tall. I have signed and dated it on the bottom.
